Dual-Lite, NX Distributed Intelligence & Prescolite Win EC&M 2022 Product of the Year Awards

GREENVILLE – April 28, 2022 — Dual-Lite, NX Distributed Intelligence and Prescolite, now brands of GE Current, a Daintree company, have officially won in three product categories of EC&M’s annual Product of the Year competition thanks to the Dual-Lite EZ-2 Series, NX Distributed Intelligence NXP2 Series and the Prescolite LiteFrame 2.0 Family.

Started in 2001, the EC&M Product of the Year competition recognizes excellence in new product development for the electrical industry in product design, as well as improvements in both safety and efficiency. Winners are selected based on the competition’s two-fold judging and voting process, which includes the opinions of EC&M magazine subscribers and a panel of hand selected judges that vote on each of the products entered into the competition, sorting them into 35 finalist categories each year.

• Dual-Lite EZ-2 Series was the winner of the Security Equipment & Systems category. The Dual-Lite EZ-2 Series Emergency Light has been a top seller for the brand ever since it made its debut in 1982. Over the years, the EZ-2 series has built a solid reputation as one of the most recognized and requested emergency lights on the market. The redesigned EZ-2 Series LED Emergency Light has a smaller form factor to blend into the environment while providing nearly three-times the spacing using high-power LEDs. • NXP2 Series won in the Lighting Control Equipment category. The NX Distributed Intelligence NXP2 Series Lighting Control Panel is a robust and reliable panel that can operate standalone or as a NX networked device. The NX Panel meets all applicable code and energy requirements, is fully scalable, easy to install, and easy to program and control using the NX controlHUBB app. The NX Panel features industry recognized, robust mechanically latching relays and 0-10V dimming channels that can be controlled individually or in groups by any local input, system input, schedule, preset, or Building Automation System.
